I wish there was a maybe for the question on recommending the tour. The tour guide was knowledgeable and helpful. He did a fabulous job driving us around the see the grounds. When it came to the romantic boat escape, I wish I had read the instructions more carefully. I was not expecting to row...
I wish there was a maybe for the question on recommending the tour. The tour guide was knowledgeable and helpful. He did a fabulous job driving us around the see the grounds. When it came to the romantic boat escape, I wish I had read the instructions more carefully. I was not expecting to row my own boat (I am an older person traveling with my daughter). I did get enough courage to get on the boat with my daughter, who had only rowed a boat on the Nintendo Mario game. Once we got over the hump on how to row the boat, we had a few laughs (we did not stay in the water very much). We saved our champagne and had it with lunch. Getting into the place was a nightmare and I waited in line for 1.5 hours. I wish the tour would have made this easier. If you are interested in seeing the palace (which I would I would imagine it is an all-day event), this is not the tour for you. By the time I got in, I just had enough time to find the hall of mirrors.Martin_R

Nima our Guide was excellent. There was a logistical timing problem with part of our tour that was unavoidable and no fault of King Tours. Nima reached out to us three days before the tour and gave us options which were above our expectations. In addition to the tour we were given bicycles to use at our leisure for touring more of Versaille. This tour is the best way to see Versaille if you have only one day. Versaille is massive and would have been exhausting if it was all done a foot. The romantic boat escape was fabulous. We were able to grab take away lunch at a shop next to the dock and enjoy a leisurely lunch with the champagne on the canal. Well done King tours for putting this package together. We are eager to refer friends and family.Halia_P

The tour of the Gardens was very good. Rowing the barge was not expected. Had to pay for the tram back to the palace and had to wait for 30 mins to Boarding and 30 more minutes before starting back.

Golf carts and row boats were awesome and made if a fun way to get around the huge property. It’s gorgeous and a must see, but it was very helpful having Nima show us what surprises were around the property.
