What to expect
View the ever-changing skyline of 'The Crescent City' from the sunny decks or climate-controlled comfort of the majestic Steamer Natchez. Cruise past the Chalmette Battlefield, where the legendary Jean Lafitte and his buccaneers joined forces with Andrew Jackson to defend the city against the British in the Battle of New Orleans.

- The Steamboat NATCHEZ is taking some time off, but her sister vessel will be taking her place. You'll get the same authentic experience of a grand paddlewheeler on a leisurely, two-hour cruise on the mighty Mississippi.
- Wheelchair accessible
- In order to help preserve the French Quarter from vehicular traffic, it is requested that you please walk, if possible, to the convenient tour departure point - just a short stroll from most downtown hotels.
- The riverboat is handicap accessible. However, access to the top & bottom decks are by stairs only. Please call us with any questions before finalizing your plans if you have questions on access or personal equipment.

Was relaxing and enjoyable. We sat on one side of the boat as it began the cruise and the captain talked mostly about the interests on the other side. Once the boat was turned around, he stopped narrating and the band played (which was nice) but we missed out on the interesting info we where now...

So either sit right on the bow or stern, or when you get on, sit on the side facing the landing. Overall was roomy and comfortable.Mary M

Music & trip was wonderful. The band gad people singing & dancing. Did not do lunch but did have a cocktail on board. Would definitely recommend.
