So here is the deal, I didn't actually take a tour with Carlos. My boyfriend and I were stranded on the side of the road (as the coffee farm we were trying to visit was closed) , and Carlos pulled over to see if we were okay. Although he had some customers with us, he took a minute to make a phone call to find out where the coffee farmer was. A few hours later, Carlos returned to the coffee farm with his tour guests (as they had requested to return to buy some coffee to take back home with them). Sure enough we were still at the coffee farm and were able to sit down and chat with Carlos. He was such a great and friendly guy! He seemed to have a genuine passion for telling stories about the history of Medellin and sharing this with visitors. Unfortunately we were leaving the next day so we weren't able to schedule a tour, but I wouldn't hesitate for a second to send friend or family his way if they visit the city. Carlos was a police office in Florida for a few years so his English is perfectly fluent and really easy to understand! Definitely check him out!We did the Escobar Tour with Carlos and it was very interesting. He knows a lot about this topic and can tell lots of good stories and facts from the past. Carlos is a very good guide, speaking good english and has a good humor. Highly recommended.
