Nazca Lines Tour by Land
Overview
The Tour to the Nasca Lines by Land, is a tour of our agency. It is recommended for everyone, it combines small walks with beautiful views of the Nasca and Palpa valleys. Contrary to the belief that they can only be seen from the air, we tell you that there are many figures or Geoglyphs that can be easily seen from the lookout towers and from the surrounding hills, this tour takes you to see some little known geoglyphs but just as mysterious as "El Gato Andino", "El Lagarto", "La Familia Real", "La Orca" and others.

What to expect
Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product
Stop At: Nasca Lines, Nazca Peru
Departure from Nasca towards the South Pan-American Highway. We start the tour going up a small natural hill from which we will be able to observe many lines and geometric figures that intersect, we will also observe the geoglyph of the Andean Cat.
Duration: 25 minutes
Stop At: Torre Mirador de Las Lines de Nasca, PanAmerican Hwy, Nazca Peru
At this point we arrive at the Maria Reiche metallic viewpoint from where you can see the Geoglyph of the Hand, the Tree and the Lizard.
Duration: 25 minutes
Stop At: Casa-Museo Mari Reiche, Caserio la Pascana, Carretera Panamericana Sur Km 420 San Pablo, Nazca Peru
Optional. We will pass through the town of El Ingenio, here is the Maria Reiche House Museum, the woman who dedicated her life to the study and protection of Las Lineas and Geoglyphs that are World Heritage Sites. If you want we can make a stop to visit the place.

Stop At: Geoglifos de Llipata, Palpa Peru
Upon reaching the Llipata sector on the hill, small zoomorphic and anthropomorphic figures will be observed, then we will go to the Mirador Tower from where the famous Geoglyph "La Familia Real" will be observed. To finish we continue towards a natural viewpoint where you can see the beautiful geoglyph of "La Orca". Return to Nazca.

Hicimos la visita no con el avión sino por tierra y desde los miradores. Fue magnífico porque pudimos apreciar las líneas con toda tranquilidad y disfrutando de un helado, además de haberlo podido combinar con una visita de las menos conocidas líneas de Palpa, herencia de la cultura Paracas. Al día siguiente se puede visitar, no muy lejos de allí, la casa de María Reiche, descubridora de las líneas, y el Museo Antonini, en la misma ciudad de Nazca, con los tesoros descubiertos en la ciudad de Cahuiche.Mallory_C

Very nice tour. Our guide was super cool and friendly. We rode by car through the desert lands and saw some line drawings from the sightseeing spots (miradores).
