Duration: full day tour – 9/10 hours. Running 360 kmts.- most on a paved road

The tour starts early in the morning, going to the natural reserve of Punta Tombo, at 180 km. from Puerto Madryn.
This rookery is the most important of the Magellanic Penguins.
Once at the rookery, we can walk through the 3 km. natural path, appreciating this sea bird, in its natural environment at their reproductive time of the year. You can hear the animals claming for the couples, mating, fighting for the nests, breeding the chicks or molting, depending of the moment of the season.
With their white chests and black backs, they represent a special group of land-sea fauna of
Patagonia.
Lunch time: You have time to take lunch at the restaurant (not included).
Occasionally, depending on the weather conditions, the tour goes to Playa Union, offering the option of a dolphins watching (Commerson dolphin), sailing at the ocean (not included) or the Paleontological Museum in Trelew (not included).

Es un lugar maravilloso. Recomiendo ir en días que no haya cruceros en Puerto Madryn, hay menos gente y se recorre mucho más tranquilo. Es fundamental ser respetuosos de las normas e indicaciones de los guarda fauna.

Me gustaría que hubiera algunos bebederos ya que el calor cuando fuimos fue intenso.

En la costa lobos marinos y gaviotas. Un paseo imperdible por pasarelas de made...
Un lugar increíble donde se aprecia la interacción de los Pingüinos de Magallanes, su búsqueda de nido, apareamiento, etc. También se aprecia el ecosistema con ejemplares de Guanacos, que en manadas pastan libremente. En la costa lobos marinos y gaviotas. Un paseo imperdible por pasarelas de madera, hasta el mirador, dónde se aprecia el mar argentino. Hay un centro de interpretación muy completo, baños limpios y un restaurante. No hay señal de celular y el pago es en efectivo. Muy recomendable.En esta excursion tuvimos la oportunidad de hacer el avistaje de Toninas(delfines) y luego ir a Punta Tombo. Nuestro guia,Maxi, fue ultra copado.

Increible verlos al lado tuyo, dejarlos pasar con ese andar tipo pendular. El acceso es bueno hasta la resrva los ultimos 30...
Fuimos durante el mes de octubre, no me imagine ver una colonia tan grande de estos simpaticos animales caminando y desarrollando su vida natural a la vista del ser humano. Increible verlos al lado tuyo, dejarlos pasar con ese andar tipo pendular. El acceso es bueno hasta la resrva los ultimos 30-40 km son de ripio bien mantenido, con algunas zonas de serrucho pero tolerable.Valio la pena ir.
