Stop At: Curi Cancha Reserve, 300 meters west of the Monteverde Cheese Factory, 60109 Costa Rica

The Natural History walk consists in a walk through the trails to be able to spot Monteverde's Flora and Fauna(Animals and Plants), the best way to find animals in Monteverde Area is finding an avocado tree fruiting. Wild Avocados are the main food source in the area.
The guide(Certificate for the Costarricans Tourist Chamber) it has a professional spotting scope for your enjoyment as well the guide to take photos(Through the scope with the Phone)

My holiday in Costa Rica was the best I've ever had, Curi-Cancha and Sergio stand out as the best tour and guide we had among many brilliant tours. Sergio spoke perfect English, above that he cared so dearly for the nature reserve. He explained he'd been attending there since school. We felt incredibly lucky to have seen a collared peccary. Seconds later we would witness a mother collared peccary feeding her young. You could see how happy and excited this made Sergio, it was a wonderful experience. Sergio had an excellent eye for the wildlife and took us down some quieter trails which made the experience more encapsulating. Sergio's care for the wildlife and the park came across very quickly. He had a great knowledge and was so open about his upbringing and how this had influenced his love for biodiversity, environmentalism and his job within this. Sergio explained that he had grown up in Monteverde, and that visits to the reserve during school were weekly, you could see how much Curi-Cancha meant to him. You couldn't have asked for a more immersive tour or a better tour guide. This tour stands out as my favourite. I cannot thank Sergio enough for this tour. From start to finish the commutation with the company when booking my tour before my arrival to Costa Rica was very informative and efficient. my tour guide Sergio was absolutely amazing. Sergio’s knowledge of this very special place was incredible. Sergio was very kind and answered all my questions and helped my get some fantastic photos of all the animals, plants and birds we were lucky enough to see and wow did we get lucky! I can’t recommend this company enough and as a solo travelling woman I felt very comfortable and safe the whole way through. Thanks to all involved a day I will never forget.Oscar is the best option. My wife and I had the pleasure of going on both a night and morning tour with Oscar in the Monteverde area. Not only is Oscar highly knowledgeable about animals, plants, and the ecology of the area, he's also a genuinely great guy that you want to explore the jungle with. He's extremely passionate about his work and we thoroughly enjoyed learning from him. Oscar has a keen eye and spotted wildlife we never would have. Between the two tours we had the opportunity to see keel billed toucans, vipers, scorpions, tarantulas, capuchin monkeys, a quetzal, sloths, coati, and numerous other birds. Not only did he help us spot these animals, but he also helped us get amazing photos using his scope. If you want to make the most out of your time in Monteverde, Oscar is your guy.We spent 2 full days with Oscar and did all private tours - what an amazing experience we had!
