Enter Todaiji Temple and see the biggest Buddha statue of Japan and learn about the history of the city.
Duration: 30 minutes
Stop At: Kikuichi Monju Shiro Kanenaga, 488 Zoshicho, Nara 630-8211 Nara Prefecture
Visit the Kikuichi Knife shop, former Samurai Sword maker and actual cooking knives maker. Learn about Knives and buy some if you wish to. Free engraving can be asked when you visit on our tour.

Stop At: Kasuga Grand Shrine, 160 Kasuganocho, Nara 630-8212 Nara Prefecture
Visit the Shrine of Kasuga Taisha, Learn about the spirit living there and discover Shinto, the oldest concept of spirituality in the world.

Stop At: Sagi Pond, 1194 Takabatakecho, Nara 630-8301 Nara Prefecture
Walk on the wooden bridge and stop to take one last picture for amazing memories.

We were a group of 4 adults and 3 children doing the family e-bike tour. Just to note, the e-bikes are for adults and the kids get regular bikes with hand brakes (no coaster brake) and a shift knob on the right grip. All of us enjoyed the ride stops and the kids loved riding through the park and...
We were a group of 4 adults and 3 children doing the family e-bike tour. Just to note, the e-bikes are for adults and the kids get regular bikes with hand brakes (no coaster brake) and a shift knob on the right grip. All of us enjoyed the ride stops and the kids loved riding through the park and adjoining streets even though this was their first time riding a bike with shifting and no coaster-brake. The kids especially liked feeding cookies to the deer. Our guide Remi made sure the kids were safe during the riding portions. His time living in Japan gives him a lot of insight into the culture that isn't covered in your standard tour. Note: reconfirm the location with the guide the day before. Only one email (of many) contained the correct location, and the website lists an alternate location that turned out to be the wrong one for us.javierp468

We did the family tour to the Nara Park with e-bikes and the experience was fantastic. It was warm weather and e-bikes are the best way to visit the park while not suffering too much from the heat. The guide was fantastic, and the whole experience was great for all the family. 100% recommended regardless of the age of your kids (they have small e-bikes if needed and kids seats if they can't ride an e-bike).
