Overview
Fiji's original Off Road adventure transports you deep into the Fijian interior aboard our custom built Off Road vehicles. The adventure is brought to life by your guides who will share the incredible history of the region and of course introduce you to the Fijian culture and way of life.
By "Taking the Road Less Travelled" you will be able to see first hand historical & geological sites that still remain as they were from centuries ago.
The Off Road Cave Safari is a half day adventure (4.5hours) which culminates in an amazing visit to the most beautiful cave system in Fiji, the Naihehe Cave.
As part of this experience, we also seek the Bete (priests) permission before we enter the cave system.
Your guides will give you great insight into the Caves and the role they played during the Fijian warfare days and the significance of the region in the Last War of Fiji.

Pass By: Sigatoka River Safari, Sigatoka, Viti Levu Fiji
"See The Heart & Soul of Fiji" when you venture deep into the Fijian interior aboard our custom built Safari jet boats.
Visiting a different village each day of the week, ensuring all our guests are able to experience an authentic Fijian village and engage with the Fijian culture in a real way. It should be noted that we work with 17 villages in total.
Sigatoka River Safari is a MUST DO Fijian experience and combines an exhilarating safari jet boat experience on the mighty Sigatoka River and a soul touching, heart warming experience with your new friends in your village.
Your jet boat captain will bring the journey to life as they share the rich history of the region and Fiji, before you arrive and spend some 2hrs in your village, including a traditional kava ceremony and a delicious Fijian lunch before enjoying some Fijian entertainment that is sure to bring smiles to everyone's faces.

Your guides will bring the tour to life as they share the incredible history of the last war of Fiji and the way in which the mighty Naihehe Cave system played such a significant role in protecting the people against attack.
The Off Road Cave Safari experience includes a traditional kava ceremony seeking permission to enter the cave by the bete (priests) who are the traditional protectors of the cave.
A guided experience in the cave system which features natural formations such as stalagmites & stalactites, plus a living history of the Nabuavaju clan. The cave is only illuminated by head lamps worn by the visitors into the cave and the incredible immersion into the cave system is brought to life by your guide and the spirit of the cave itself.
Returning to our BBQ site overlooking the stream/swimming hole you will enjoy a wind down with a sumptuous Fijian lunch that will fill your stomach and allow time to get to know your hosts and make new friends.
Heading back down to the departure point, passing through villages and hi-fiving the kids who wait to see you, you will be all smiles by the end of we are sure you will truly feel you have experienced a uniquely Fijian adventure.

Having a local who grew up around these cave systems as our guide, was a huge boost to this already amazing tour. The crew that took us our were fantastic, funny and entertaining as we passed by and through the villages of their famlies and neighbours, learning all about the region they call home. The trek through the cave itself was mesmerizing as we were given an oral history of the caves, the surroundings and the impact the area had on Fijian history. Very very appreciative of the warmth and kindness we were shown as guests, rather than tourists to this beautiful area. Take this tour if you have the opportunity, you will not regret it. Fantastic tour. Got really lucky, my partner & I were the only two on the tour. Everyone else chose the jet boat ride. We did the off road cave tour and Saddam and Ace were wonderful hosts. We were the only people on the tour (another couple cancelled) and the still ran it just for us, Saddam shared so much local knowledge passed down through the years about the local villages and the cave itself and we spent plenty of time exploring the cave. Saddam made sure we were safely looked after at all times and that we had a great experience. We also got to see plenty of local villages along the way to the cave. One of the best tours we did in Fiji. Captain Jack also gave us a short walking tour of Sigatoka and its markets after the tour finished and dropped us back to our hotel personally, which we really appreciated as we wouldn’t have been able to see the markets. Second trip with this company (did jet boat trip the day before). Really enjoyed seeing more of the Sigatoka valley as driven safely by Ace to the caves. Exploring a cave in its original form (no man-made paths, internal lights ,etc) was brilliant. Learnt more about the various uses of the caves!! Highly recommend this company and its staff.julesmehr

Cave Safari with Sadam & Ace was a wonderful experience! We have travelled with our kids (as young as 6 yo) and it was a great adventure! Caves were absolutely amazing, 4WDing through Fijian jungle was extraordinary, and a BBQ lunch in the traditional village with kava tasting is not to be missed!
