Overview
Welcome to Nagoya! While others may have skipped over Nagoya for the bright green tourist pastures of Tokyo or Kyoto, by choice or circumstance, you, brave soul, have found yourself with time to frolic in Nagoya. Being the third largest urban area in Japan, it's got to be a fun place to hang out... right? Sadly, many of Nagoya's gems are hidden to the untrained eye. Don't worry: We've got you covered. Come see *our* Nagoya at night, where locals and visitors can mingle, and good foods are in great supply.
You'll start your evening at a local park in the middle of the business district, just as many are getting off work. Soon you'll be enjoying a drink in the midst those very same worker bees. And food too. Of course there's going to be lots of food, and it will be spread out over three different standing bar, or "tachinomi" restaurants, with sights galore interspersed.

We'll be walking around near the TV Tower, but we don't actually go up it. Instead, we take a deep dive into the food and fun around here, sharing with you how the locals make the best of their evenings out! And we don't skimp on the food either. Get ready to experience some of the tastes Nagoya is well known for!

Stop At: Messe Nagoya Station Esca, 6-9 Tsubakicho, Nakamura-ku Nagoya Station Esca underground shopping area, Nagoya 453-0015 Aichi Prefecture
Nearby Nagoya Station is another collection of restaurants and interesting neighborhoods to walk around. We'll be introducing the best to you! We then finish off the night with a view from high above (no fee). A dramatic end to a night filled with good fun and great food!
