Musica a Palazzo offers a new way of experiencing the grand Opera. The Opera is a travelling show and each act is set in a different hall of a fascinating Venetian palace: Palazzo Barbarigo Minotto.

I have been to many operas, but this one was unique. It was set in an old Palazzo on the Grand Canal in Venice. Rather than set changes, we, the audience, moved from one beautiful room to another. The result was to feel like a participant rather than an audience member. The music of La Traviata, the settings, the small but wonderful orchestra were all superb. And the voices were amazing! It could not have been a more magical evening.Intimate setting for one of the greatest operas ever written. Beautiful voices, candlelight in lovely palazzo- a terrific experience.
