We will will walk through some of the galleries making our way to a lovely cafe where we will enjoy some coffee, snacks, music and legends. Our experience continues along a little nature path appreciating some of the flora of the region. There we will do a sing along in front of a little chapel. (For those who wish to sing) We will walk through part of the artisans market and side streets. Make our way to one of two stops depending on availability. Either the old Casa de la Noche brothel (now a charming Bed and Breakfast) or a charming french patisserie. At one of these places we will taste some mezcal and snacks paired with mexican cantina music and stories. We finish our experience with a late lunch, dessert and organic fair trade coffee (3:00 pm when most Mexicans from San Miguel eat lunch) at the gorgeous old Convent now Bella's Artes (the National Institute of the Arts) Have a good breakfast before the tour and I'll see you at 11 am in front of the Fabrica la Aurora building! Pascal is a truly gifted musician and storyteller in addition to being a lovely person to spend an afternoon with. I had two groups of friends join me in San Miguel de Allende in January 2020 and the tour plus lunch with Pascal was a highlight of the trip for everyone! We learned things about the history of SMA I never would have known, had a lovely lunch, plus dessert and coffee, and enjoyed every song he performed. This tour will be on our list for every trip we tale to San Miguel. This tour is highly entertaining, fun and informative! This tour is highly entertaining, fun and informative! Jean Paschel is an excellent musical man, very knowledgeable with the city and carries the tour with ease and humor! Almost five hours and came by fast. Lots of walking but with several timely stops where he will be singing with his guitar and invite everyone to participate. The food stops are very good as well, local food and drinks. The artistic shop stops are amazing. This is the only tour we did while in San Miguel and we feel we had the true flavor of the city. We were there for 4 days. This tour enabled us to explore the city on our own as we we felt we had the framework to see the city ourselves after the tour. I highly recommend the tour to everyone! It will not disappoint. What an incredible way to spend a day in San Miguel. Fun, informative, inspiring, touching, interactive. A nice pace, not too exhausting, but certainly not boring. Delicious food and drinks along the way. Perfect!

Jean Pascal was an extraordinary guide, who gave my husband and me a musical tour that far exceeded our expectations. Beginning at Fabrica de la Aurora, where he played his guitar and sang for us in some beautiful galleries, we wandered with Jean through various neighborhoods, learned about the history of San Miguel, ate delicious food, toasted with Mezcal in a former brothel transformed into a beautiful hotel and best of all, listened to beautiful songs, several of which he composed himself. Jean has incredible people skills and treated us like old friends. Jean gave us the feeling that being our guide was something that he really enjoyed doing. He added so many beautiful touches during our tour that made the day feel incredibly special. If you do a tour in San Miguel, do this one. I guarantee you won't regret it!Pascal was excellent very knowledgeable and his stories and songs were wonderful we saw some great art work and the walk was great.
