My stay at Khongsittha Muaythai for 30 days was amazing. The trainers are super friendly and very helpful. The gym was clean and has a great atmosphere about it. The adjoining hotel was great to stay in, just a 2 min walk to training. The rooms are clean with hot water and wifi and the local area has everything you would need, like authentic Thai food and cafés all within 5 min walk. I found the gym was a great place to have as a base to see the many amazing tourist sights that Bangkok has to offer and most things where within 45min cab ride. I highly recommend staying and training here and I’m sure I’ll be back again.First time in Bangkok with Khongsittha and what a memorable experience! The hotel is obviously not a five star hotel but is next to the gym, which is an advantage, you should try to install a pool, it will be great to relax after trainings.I am a 29-year old that attended the 30-day training in September 2019 with food and accommodation. I am a 29-year old that attended the 30-day training in September 2019 with food and accommodation. I had no prior experience with Muay Thai before starting. Trainers: The trainers are professional, engaging, passionate, and knowledgeable. They made me feel comfortable as a beginner and were invested in the success and well-being of every single student there. They made sure to cater the programs differently to the different ages, fitness levels, and skill levels of the students. We all gots plenty of one on one time which I found to be super helpful. On our days off, the trainers would take us to see fights and some of the sights around the city. Accommodation: The accommodation was very nice and had cold AC. It is located about a 3 min walk from the gym. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Food: The restaurant is right beside the gym and the food was delicious. The portions are a bit small so I did have to supplement by buying some of my own food from the other restaurants and street food stands in the area. Owners: I got a chance to meet Matt and Dunk and they made sure I was having a great experience. They provided recommendations for fun things to do on our days off, took us to watch fights, and assisted with transportation and planning. I highly recommend Khongsittha for anyone who is taking a look at training Muay Thai in Bangkok!Pulling the trigger on this trip was absolutely one of the best choices I've ever made. Pulling the trigger on this trip was absolutely one of the best choices I've ever made. Hesitation is not only natural, but probably born of some healthy caution when it comes to a 1 month commitment - especially for somebody who'd never been to Thailand or trained Muay Thai. After meeting the trainers, seeing the accommodations and realizing that Bangkok is about to exceed any expectations that I may have packed in my carry on, I knew I'd made the right choice. The training was comprehensive, but not overwhelming for a first-time fighter. Patience is plentiful in the gym, and I was relieved to discover this. The food that I was eating on the meal-plan made it tough to get on the flight home - it was that impressive. And the city itself has been calling my name to come back ever since. And, at the risk of sounding irritating, the bragging rights that are afforded to somebody who trained Muay Thai in Bangkok have been paying me dividends ever since.
