Went on this excursion today with two other people. Our guide Michael was knowledgeable about all the flora and fauna, he made us feel welcome and allowed us to all go at our own pace. You go on a rigorous hike to a beautiful beach where you snorkel. I personally found the current to be a bit intense so I sat that out and enjoyed the beautiful beach. The other folks loved the snorkeling. You had an option of taking a water taxi back (100 pesos) or hike back. Michael had a well stocked cooler with trail mix, granola bars, sandwiches, fruit, juice, pop and soda. Some advice to any guests: 1. Dress in light comfortable clothing 2. Wear heavy duty shoes (no flip flops) 3. Take water (Michael provided) 4. Make it your own! If you want to go slow please do! If the snorkeling is too intense, enjoy the beach and scenery! No pressure at all! 5. You do carry the snorkeling gear so I would suggest a very small bag with sunscreen, bug spray, towel and charger that you can put in the bag with gear. Thank you for a wonderful day!Very nice excursion. Very interesting guide Cynthia 👍 very pleasant snorkeling 🤿 I would recommend this excursion...

Saw lots of iguanas and birds. Cynthia shared lots of interesting information about the trees and plants. The snorkeling was very nice, lots of different fish and a small sting ray, the beach has a stream that runs through from the mountains, very pretty area. Lunch was very good and we had lots of snacks and water if we needed. Highly recommend taking this tour to see outside the city.We went on the snorkeling and hiking tour with Cynthia and Martin, they were both very kind and helpful on the tour. We went on the snorkeling and hiking tour with Cynthia and Martin, they were both very kind and helpful on the tour. When we did the snorkeling the first couple spots did not have great visibility so they took us on the boat to a better spot. Lots of great things to see, butterflies, squirrels, different bugs, fish, tropical birds and we were even lucky enough to see rare Pygmy whale babies. The trip was great and an overall success. Our family had a wonderful private tour day with Cynthia! She is a great guide who has a tremendous amount of knowledge of the area and culture. We all enjoyed getting away from the city and out on the water snorkeling. I would highly recommend the Ecotour group for excursions. Cynthia is awesome!!

My wife and I had a tremendous time with Cynthia and Christina. They were very courteous and polite. There were certainly no language barriers. The hike was somewhat difficult, mainly due to the climb in elevation, but it really helped us see the landscape and get away from all the tourism. Not to mention, it was nice to exercise after being lazy on a cruise ship for a few days. If the hike is too difficult, Cynthia is great at helping you go your own pace while also giving a ton of great information about the plants and wildlife along the trail. When it came to snorkeling, the water was a bit cold, but also very clear. Christina helped us figure out how to snorkel (my wife and I were novices), and it was a great time. We saw plenty of neat fish and Christina was diving around showing us things the whole time. A little heads up, there are tiny little specks that look like jelly fish in the water....don't freak out like I did... they are harmless. Overall, we had a wonderful time. We could not have asked for a better experience.
