To cross the bridge, you'll need nerves as strong as the steel cables from which it hangs.

The suspension bridge stretches from here to the Ice Flyer glacier chair lift station. The TITLIS Cliff Walk is just one metre wide and over 100 metres long. It's over 3,200m in height & one of its best selling points is it has snow 365 days a year. We are both non-skiers but we still had a great time there, which included the 2 cable cars rides (inc the rotating 360c Titlis Rotair) , the Cliff Walk, the Glacier Cave, the Ice Flyer... there's also a restaurant, 2 gift shops (i.e. one of them is at the foot of the cable car station) & a observatory. The scenery of the Alps were picturesque & breathtaking! We had Swiss Travel Passes so it's half price ($44CHF) The price included return cablecars to/ from the top of Titlis, the Cliff Walk & the Glacier Cave. Ice Flyer costs extra $12CHF but it's totally worth it. Highly Recommended if you're nearby.Titlis is a mountain of the Uri Alps, located on the border between the cantons of Obwalden and Bern. Titlis is a mountain of the Uri Alps, located on the border between the cantons of Obwalden and Bern. At 3,238 metres above sea level, it is the highest summit of the range north of the Susten Pass, between the Bernese Oberland and Central Switzerland. During our recent Holidays at Switzerland ,we went to a half day trip to Mount Titlis. Since we had camped at Interlaken , reaching Engelberg took a slightly longer time, compared to Lucerne. It was a cloudy day and we were hoping that it wouldn't rain. On reaching Engelberg , you have to take 2 cable cars ( Normal Gondola & Titlis Rotaire , the first rotating cable car in the world) to reach on top of Mount Titlis. As we were reaching on top the weather was very cloudy and a fear that we will not be able to enjoy the views from top and not be able to do snow activities . Luckily for us ,as we reached the top the weather gods were kind on us and e has some of the most breathtaking views from Mount Titlis. The Ice Flyer , Suspended bridge activities were fantastic . The facilities at Mount Titlis are good. Shopping, Restaurants, Chocolates shopping , A viewing lounge ,etc are great. If you are a Bollywood fan , you can see and take picture with Shahrukh & Kajol 's cutout from the movie `Dilwale Dulhaniya le Jaayenge' ,as some of the shooting from the movie was done here. We spent around 2.5 hours and then came down the same way we had reached on top. As we were reaching Engleberg , it started raining heavily. We were lucky that we could complete our journey to the top of Mount Titlis. Overall a great experience & you must visit it.Brilliant engineering, cable car to the top presents with amazing views. Side note: We experienced this to be way better than the trip to the Mt Pilatus, not only from an activity perspective but also from an organisational perspective.Amazing Amazing Amazing - couple of hours from Zurich via Lucerne by train. Amazing Amazing Amazing - couple of hours from Zurich via Lucerne by train. Lovely views as you go up towards the mountain. The cable car up to the top, provides breathtaking views. Once you get to the top you have choices of walking across an extended bridge which provides incredible views; the ice flyer which is basically a ski lift which can be accessed by non skiers, was well worth the time spent. Lucerne as a city was well worth walking around and experiencing the city for half a day. Highly recommended
