I had the experience of a lifetime!!! An amazing 3 day Mt. Olympus hike, climbing to the summit of Mytikas, very safely guided by Thanos. I booked the trek via their website and had regular communication and offers of help with flights & transfers etc.. Stelios arranged our meet up and travel to and from Gortsia/Prionia, at the start/end of our trek, just adding to the ease of the experience!! Our hike was well thought out by Thanos, as well as carefully guiding us, he arranged all food and refuge accommodation again making the trek totally stress free. The hike itself was amazing, 1st day is the long steady climb to the summit plateau, with a refuge stop for lunch. 2nd day is the summit climb, which was just incredible, Thanos was exceptional this day, as scary as this climb is, he will confidently get you to the magical Mytikas summit!! We then started our descent and ended the day at another very clean and accommodating refuge, before completing the final descent on the 3rd day. A brilliant, once in a lifetime trek for me, with an excellent company!! I hope Greek Adventure will let me back on another of their treks soon!!Had a four day hike through the Olympus national park with Iraklis and can’t recommend it highly enough. Had a four day hike through the Olympus national park with Iraklis and can’t recommend it highly enough. You could go by yourself as well but having a n experienced guide took it to the next level. Very well organised with refugees, food, transports, climbs and everything else, we only had to show up with our gear and walk which felt very luxurious. Iraklis was very friendly and knowledgeable. Not only did we climb the peak but we also got to see some things that were a bit off the beaten path and learn about the flora and fauna around the area.We had booked 2 spots on the 4-day group tour to Olympus and Mythikas, but due to covid we were the only ones so we got more of a private tour instead. We had booked 2 spots on the 4-day group tour to Olympus and Mythikas, but due to covid we were the only ones so we got more of a private tour instead. The mountain is amazing, so much to see and experience! There are several refuges to stay at, all with their own charm. I can't recommend it enough! We booked the guide through a different agency, and I guess the communication between them were not the best. We ended up bringing a lot more stuff than we needed, as the pack list was not optimized for the tour. We still had a great time, and our guide, Iraklis, was fantastic. Unless you are an expert yourself you will not get to the peak without a guide, and having Iraklis made the rest of the trip both safer and smoother. We bought the full board package, which I dont really see the point in. The refuges sell the food and drink so you might as well buy it straight from them. You will need cash for water even if you go with the full board option because only drinks with the food is included. No acceso a mujeres.Necesitas un pasaporte especial que justifique tu viaje.Distancias engañosas por la orografia del terreno.Prohibido el camping.Te alojas en monasterios.Hay lobos y no es metáfora.
