January 2018

The weather greatly impeded our outing as it rained all day. Our ship was late coming in so we had a shorter excursion time. This meant that we literally drove to the mud pools which took 1 1/2 hours. Thats a long way to drive to see mud bubbling. We did drive another way back to see the town ...

Quite interesting sites if you haven't been to Yellowstone, but the Maori Culture show tends to be very crowded. Be first in line. Mike, our guide was knowledgable and offered great insights.

Great trip however didn't set off until an hour later than expected due to them wanting to fill the bus up so waited for another 4 people who hadn't booked on line like the rest of us. They knew how many had booked on line so should have gone with that.
