Lan Ha Bay is located in the east of Cat Ba Island, overlooking the Cua Van Gate, adjacent to Ha Long Bay. This is a very gulf-shaped bay with about 388 large islands creating a huge picture depicting the scene. The big and small islands in Lan Ha Bay are covered with green flora. Lan Ha Bay has 139 small wild beaches, lovely and desolate as the "blue straits" inviting tourists to explore. Many sandy beaches stretch between two rocky mountains, quiet with no big waves. Stop At: Lan Ha Bay, Hai Phong, Cat Ba Vietnam
Departure: 8:00 am, End: 15:00 pm
7.30-8.80: Pick up by car from your hotel to Ben Beo wharf (2km).
8:30: get on boat and start the journey to visit Lan Ha Bay. Boat takes you through the fishing village, visiting hundreds of small islands with a variety of shapes such as candles, toads, seals.
10:00. The boat stops in Dark-bright caves area, which is bordered by Lan Ha Bay and Halong Bay. Here you takes kayaks and rowing through the tunnel caves. kayaking through the dynamic areas you will come to a valley on the sea, surrounded by high mountains, scenery like in heaven.
11:00: End of kayaking. You return to floating house to see a variety of sea fish such as: cobia, star fish, water fish ... Enjoy the lunch, after lunch, the boat will move to the three peach beaches.
Duration: 4 hours
Stop At: Lan Ha Bay, Hai Phong, Cat Ba Vietnam
12.00 to 13.00 pm boat stops at the three-peachs beaches for swimming, where there are many smooth golden sand beaches, a good experience is jumping from the top of the boat down the clear blue water
13:30: move to Thap Nghieng Island. At the beach, you can swim under the clear blue water and white sand.
15:00: Leave Cat Dua Island and take boat back to Ben Beo harbor.
15:30: Car take you to Cat Ba town. Finish the journey and see you again

We had an amazing day with Joe and Ti as guides. During the kayaking tour we spotted 10 cat ba langurs sitting on a rock, even with a little baby. Food on the boat was also well organized.

Joe and T gave us a great tour. Wonderful swim and a nice boat. Would recommend for sure! Give it a go if you’re in Cat ba and have the time.

Great trip sailing towards Halong Bay- beautiful scenery and not many other boats. A swim to secluded beach was great fun and the kayaking was awesome! Lunch on board was delicious. A perfect day trip. Thank you T!

At first we were put on the wrong tour. We were a bit annoyed. But our tour guide Tuyên made it up for all of it. He is a good speaker. I have seen a lot of Vietnamese tour guide who said they can speak english very well, but when i heard his english. Then i can say the other guide is not even in...
At first we were put on the wrong tour. We were a bit annoyed. But our tour guide Tuyên made it up for all of it. He is a good speaker. I have seen a lot of Vietnamese tour guide who said they can speak english very well, but when i heard his english. Then i can say the other guide is not even in his league when it come to speaking english. He is the perfect guide for western/english speaking tourist because his english en knowledge about different language. All and all, i would recommended him as a guide. Now about the tour it self. At the beginning there was chaos with a lot of crowd at the ticket counter in the habour. There were a lot of questions in my mind. Like, who is my guide, where is my guide, how do i know i am getting in the right boat? Etc ... Then a guide (Tuyên) appeared out of nowhere. He said "Just follow me, i am your guide". So i thought Just go with the flow (maybe the reason why i am on the wrong tour). :D But when the boat is leaving the habour. The chaos suddenly disappeared. The views were indescribable. Kayaking was fun. The food was really good. Swimming was nice. The guide was superb. With a beer or 2. What more do you wants? Believe me, it was a good tour overall. There for a 5 stars rating for this tour.kaibay

The views were amazing and the guide joe was so friendly. The boat was lovely and looked a bit like a pirate ship and lunch was a buffet! I wish I could give this tour a 6/5 !!! Overall amsing!

I highly recommend this tour. Everything about it was great! Joe is a great tour guide and a wonderful person to talk to. He goes above and beyond to make sure everyone has a great time and is safe throughout the trip. We were taken to beautiful spots throughout the bays and given a delicious lun...
