Overview
The northern tip of folly beach is a beautiful pristine natural area. There are many different types of wildlife and plant life thriving in the only remaining undeveloped tract of land on the island. Dolphins, sea turtles, fish, and dozens of bird species are present in the area. This is area is a nature preserve and a bird sanctuary. The Morris island lighthouse is an iconic landmark in the charleston area. There are natural dunes.and huge piece of driftwood littering the coastline that leads to the folly River.

Stop At: Morris Island Lighthouse, 1750 E Ashley Avenue, Folly Beach, SC 29439
Experience a Morris Island Lighthouse bike tour! We start at the north end of Folly beach where your tour guide will provide you with bikes and give you basic instruction. Then we take a short bike ride down the beautiful graffiti painted paved road before climbing pristine natural sand dunes. As we climb the dunes you will see the Morris Island Lighthouse in all its glory. The lighthouse is located less than a quarter mile off the beach and is a popular photo destination. We will continue the bike tour down the beach to the Folly River. This is an amazing dolphin sighting location and hotspot for local wildlife. After a short break we will return to the parking area. The tour takes about 60 minutes and is dependent on the tide.
