The actual soba-making experience takes about 30 minutes. Afterwards, try your own soba and tempura
If it is around 1 hour and 30 minutes, it will all be over.

Taku was a very patient chef who continued to encourage us along the way, giving clear step by step directions. He also gave us great information about the soba-making process and the local ingredients that make it unique to Sapporo and Hokkaido. Our meal included our own finished soba noodles and and absolutely scrumptious tempura, using the fresh Hokkaido scallops and fresh asparagus. Taku even gave us tips on how we might make soba at home, although nothing can top what we made today! Highly recommend to everyone, even those who are inexperienced cooks. A very fun experience! Hands on and a definite workout to get the dough to the right consistency but our lovely soba sensei guided us through every step of the way. Best of all you get to eat your creation at the end. A great way to sample soba in Hokkaido. Highly recommended!
