Our guide and driver Sara was wonderful. She picked us up at the dock and took us on a nice tour of Monaco, including the Prince's Palace, which overlooked the entire city - including the preparations for the Grand Prix race the following weekend. After an exciting ride through the tunnels, we visited the Fragonard perfumery in France and were provided a tour of the factory ending with a session where we got to experience the various scents of the perfumes made there. From there we drove to the medieval village of Eze and were given a nice tour of the entire village, it was the highlight of the tour. We returned to Monaco and visited the Monte Carlo Casino - had we been dressed properly we could have gone in and tried our luck at the tables. We then returned to the dock for pick up by our tender boat. Sara provided great information on every spot we visited and provided commentary while driving to each destination, she was a great guide and an excellent driver (driving and parking here requires some skill). The sites were good and our guide was excellent. The sites were good and our guide was excellent. Unfortunately you get very little time at the places you would like to spend time. This would be understandable if it was just because of the limited time of the tour, but the perfume factory tour was too much time and no one wanted to be there. It is just a stop to try and sell you something and took over 45 minutes of a 4 hour tour. I did not think this was our guides fault as he was doing what he was told to do but you feel a little swindled by it and we had no option to skip it. I would not recommend the tour strictly because of this. Eze was great and the palace area was too but you end up with only a few minutes at each to explore. I would not recommend the tour because of the perfume factory portion taking your time.A really good way to get orientated in Monaco and also to see some of the countryside around it. Eze was really interesting as was the perfume factory. Our guide was Xavier who was really knowledgeable and clearly enjoyed showing us around.

Our host Zara, made the Monaco/Eze Village visit so enjoyable. From Perfumery (Grasse) to to Casio (Monte Carlo) and Monaco itself. The pickup from my Nice dwelling was an unexpected benefit. The on route conversations were delightful and the scenic views of the rolling hills along the French Riviera were just breathtaking. Thoroughly enjoyed this 4 hour excursion and would pay to do the longer more expensive tour next time I am in this part of France. Thanks Zara and team. Regards - Ed
