What to expect
Itinerary
Day 1: Hanoi - Tuan Chau - Halong Bay - Lan Ha Bay
Stop At: Lan Ha Bay, Hai Phong, Cat Ba Vietnam
12:00 noon time: Embark Mon Chéri Cruises at Got Pier, Cat Hai, Hai Phong. The cruise will sail whilst you have lunch in Mon Cheri's luxury restaurant, enjoying the beauty of the canals on the way to Halong Bay.
3:00PM: Arrive at the Light and Dark Caves, where you can kayak or enjoy a bamboo boat ride. Return to Mon Chéri Cruises and swim near the ship.
5:30PM: Return to the cruise where you can admire the magnificent sunset over the Gulf of Tonkin and enjoy a complimentary sunset party. Take part in a cooking demonstration to learn about our Vietnamese cuisine.
7:00PM: A great dining experience awaits you.
8:30PM-0:00AM: Learn how to fish for squid or relax in your room. Stay overnight on board.

Was lucky enough to spend a night with these guys last week. Impeccable service, ship is only 4 years old so it is nice and modern. Amazing pool, lovely top deck. Amazing food. Can't fault them at all. Thanks to all their team! Side note - and literally nothing against this company - Halong B...

Can't fault them at all. Thanks to all their team! Side note - and literally nothing against this company - Halong Bay is extremely busy, i'd say hundreds of boats. It's still lovely, but it's very busy. Which isn't a bad thing, it means plenty of business for the area. Side note 2.0 - being a UNESCO zone, I'd really wish they did a better job of keeping the water and shore clean. It's a must. No one wants to see so much rubbish when travelling to such a beautiful place._P274SA

We had an amazing experience here. Everything here is beautiful from the dining room to the rooftop. Very clean. Good food with a lot of consideration to our need as a vegetarians. The staff were very kind, great service!

Excellent choice for Halong Bay cruise. The cruise comes with friendly enthusiastic staff, great food, and all around a wonderful time. Everyone cares about your experience. This would be a 5 star experience, but for a pushy manager on the way back to dock that in a very pushy way (literally) ...

This would be a 5 star experience, but for a pushy manager on the way back to dock that in a very pushy way (literally) commandeered my friend's phone to post a 5 star review on Trip Advisor. Like he literally stood there pressed 5 stars and instructed her to write... it was awkward having to secretly put away the phone. On another note, we had a good experience with 2 guys who cooked us cha gio egg rolls and our restaurant server (can't recall her name) wrote us a very nice note before her shift changed. We loved how we were treated very personally and would recommend this cruise.dianadH2937ED

The crew members are very nice. The Mon Cheri 2 boat was outstanding. All activities were great. And the views of the Ha Long bay breathtaking. Augustine was really a good guide for the squid fishing and the cave tour. You will have a great time.
