We booked this tour last minute the night before, through Tripadvisor little expensive but worth the experience to see the old type level of corruption that was the behind a old guard style of government. The grounds were amazing what we had time to see, at 7’C and wind chill it was not the day to go on a walking exploration. The spa and the main house are truly outstanding display of over the top decadence and extravagant living that would befit a king. However it was or built for a King, these buildings stand as a reminder to Ukraine of what corruption can do. The house minder пітер (Peter) was a great personality and showed us around and explained the house rooms, he chatted to my Ukrainian partner extensively about the country and the need for change. A lot has been achieved but there is still a way to go. Ukraine is an amazing country this tour shows what a darker side can achieve but you also see what the craftsmen of this country can create. Our tour guide Tatiana was great, good English and was able to give history background to the estate and country. We will definitely return next year when the weather is warm and explore the estate lands. Great experience and enlightening, thanks to Tatiana and пітер.It was an unplanned business trip to Kiev. It was an unplanned business trip to Kiev. I wouldn’t have chosen to travel there, but under the meager conditions of the coronavirus reality and the order of my company, I had to go. Nevertheless, I follow the news and heard about the revolutions in Ukraine, so in order to somehow have fun I decided to visit the house of the former president. The tour and guide are excellent, the grounds are impressive. I saw houses that were more luxurious, but they belonged to people who honestly earned money and bought them, and here it is a shame for Ukrainian corruption. My rating for the tour is 5 out of 5, for Ukrainian politics - 0 out of 5.We visited Kiev for 3 days and we decided that we don’t wanna waste our time, therefore we took this trip with our guide and it was amazing. I would advice to visit the house itself, this experience costs about 16€ per person and is worth looking around

She knows a lot of facts about the history of the place. Takes the time to explain everything that is in.

Please be aware that they don't have any ATMs there so you need cash. The enterance to the house was 500 UAH for 1 person (cash only), you would also need some cash for the golf cart tour and there is a car museum as well that you need to pay 200 UAH/ pers if you want to see it. No food available, only a few carts with snacks and drinks. The guide we had was amazing, thank you so much Kate for everything and for keeping it entertaining :). If possible ask for her, she speaks great english and has answers to every single question about Kiev. Great Job, thank you.In July, we finally visited Kiev. In July, we finally visited Kiev. Several of our friends were already here and recommended this city as very warm, with beautiful people, parks, a river and wonderful restaurants. It was very interesting for us to see the former residence of the corrupt president, and we went to Mezhigorye with Katya. And I recommend a tour there exactly with Katya, because she was born in the city where the President was from, and can convey to you the mentality. We really liked the park, ducks, swans, the fish we fed. The house inside is, of course, terrible. But this is my opinion, absolutely not my style of interior, everything is covered with gold, wood, even plant pots are made of python skin. Why be so greedy? We are full of emotions after this trip and recommend this tour.
