The guide was very informative. We visited both spots with nice views and locations of historical interest. The tour moved at a good pace, no rushing. I will only say that for some of the rocks and monasteries the light is not ideal during the time this tour runs. If you are a photographer consider visiting some of the spots at other times of the day.Chris and his copilot driving the bus were extremely knowledgeable and entertaining. Chris studied history and is passionate about the area, having lived there all his life. Very good explanation of the monasteries and geology and never boring.

However, the tour still started at 4PM so the guide, Vasilias, took us to everyplace he could think of to fill the time. However, the tour still started at 4PM so the guide, Vasilias, took us to everyplace he could think of to fill the time. As a result, we got a very comprehensive view of the entire Meteora area and he gave us all the history and so many stories. The sunset site was packed with people and there were no clouds so it wasn't too spectacular but it was still an enjoyable experience.Great tour. It did last over 5h and we visited many great view points, Virgin Mary's church, Agios Stefanos, hermits' caves... And of course we could enjoy beautiful sunset. Great story telling from the guide, answering many questions we had without any issues :) Driver was great as well, very sm...
Great tour. It did last over 5h and we visited many great view points, Virgin Mary's church, Agios Stefanos, hermits' caves... And of course we could enjoy beautiful sunset. Great story telling from the guide, answering many questions we had without any issues :) Driver was great as well, very smooth ride. everyone was offered free bottle of water, which was very welcomed on that hot day. Definitely would recommend to anyone who is visiting Meteora, especially that the price for this trip was really good.
