GETTING TO KALAMPAKA:
Departing from Athens, the train is by far the most pleasant way to get to Kalambaka.
From Athens or Thessaloniki, you can take either a train or a bus up to Meteora. The trains servicing the northern part of Greece leave from the “Larissa station” in Athens, while the buses serving that part of the country leave from Terminal B, at Liossion Street.
Also, we can schedule to pick you up from Athens or Thessaloniki with a minibus. (Contact us for more information)
In case you arrive in Kalambaka by train, we can pick you up from the train station and start the tour.

In three simple words : A fantastic tour!!! Thanks to the tour's guide Mrs Helen and the tour's driver Mr Nikos hospitality, kindness and will to guarantee you're having a great time, you feel like being on a journey with some friends of yours. Tour includes visit to all accessible Monasteries,a great walk through Meteora's foot path, museums visit as well a visit to Kastraki. Extra bonus the wonderful photos and the knowledge acquired by the tour guide Mrs Helen. Highly recommended for both families and couples. And a lot of views at the monasteries and towards Kalambaka and more. It's an amazing place. I enjoyed a relaxed afternoon with Meteora Tours and the driver/guide. Both Nikos the driver and Andreas the tour guide were great, superkind, enthusiastic, helpful, friendly, and professional. I got a lot of interesting information about the Meteoras, went to different observation points, and they also took some pictures of me with the Meteoras, which is great for a solo traveller :) I also have to highlight that the tour was organised even if there were no other passangers just me (for the same price), which made it even more special for me. I highly recommend both tours with this company, as you can get so much more out of your Meteora adventure in this way, than just visiting individually. The most interesting tour in the most astonishing place I've ever been to in my life! Guys are really into their job, they were very polite, knew a lot of details about monasteries. The've gave a stop at viewpoints so we took from this journey pictures. We've seen 4 monasteries, one of which was extra, out of common tour. This one was closed for visitors but there was a jail for monks and a wall inside a cave in a height of 30th floor building. At the extremal heat of this day this tour gave us good impressions and memories with a huge amount of photos. Tour is great for those who want to see a lot and listen to history. Inside of monastery we were alone so we had time for feel the holiness if place.
