What to expect
You don’t have to retreat to the country to live your cowboy or cowgirl adventure: this 4, 500 urban oasis is right in the middle of Memphis. Saddle up and explore the trails inside this sprawling city park, which is home to a variety of wildlife including deer, ducks, cranes, and more. Horses are well-trained and accustomed to riders of all experience levels.

- All participants need to weigh under 240 lbs each

- Not recommended for pregnant travelers
- No heart problems or other serious medical conditions
- Most travelers can participate
- This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund
- This tour/activity will have a maximum of 12 travelers

Took my granddaughter, 11, for a 30 horseback ride as a gift for her birthday. She had a great time and is already asking to go back. Anna, April and Carson were fabulous on assisting us and making sure we were ready for the ride and leading us on the ride. We will definitely be back!!

The only thing I didn't like was having to fill out paperwork when arriving. This should be done online beforehand.

Our kids 8 and 11 had not ridden before and I was worried about them being ontheir own horse. Lauren calmed me down and said she was picking very calm horses for them to ride. The kids loved it and wanted to do it every day!Our 2nd Trail Ride this year. Always have a great time @ Shelby Farms. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and they never disappoint. Elizabeth and Kinsey were entertaining and informative and kept us all focused and safe. Will definitely return soon.
