Stop At: Vinh Trang Temple, Nguyen Trung Truc, My Tho Vietnam
Around 7:45am. Get picked up from your hotel in center of Ho Chi Minh City and head to the Mekong Delta. During the 1.5 car ride, we will pass through by green rice fields before arriving at the beautiful rural My Tho.
The first stop is Vinh Trang pagoda. It is the biggest pagoda in the Mekong Delta region. You will be guided to explore the most beautiful, ancient and significant temple in the Mekong Delta. This religious landmark dates back to the 19th century and features a harmonious fusion of Vietnamese, Khmer, and Chinese architectural styles.

Stop At: My Tho, My Tho, Tien Giang Province, Mekong Delta
My Tho is considered as the heart of the Mekong Delta region. Your trip continues from here by motorized boat on the Tien River to the Qui, the Dragon, Phoenix and Unicorn Islet.
Walk into the village, where you can visit a local fruit garden and enjoy the tropical fruit while listening to Southern Vietnamese folk music performed by islanders. Here you can join daily activities of the local people and take in the atmosphere of this beautiful natural countryside. Visit the bee house. Lunch will be served at orchard garden.

Stop At: Ben Tre, Ben Tre, Ben Tre Province, Mekong Delta
The boat cruises to Ben Tre province known as "The Land of Coconut. Here you'll visit the coconut candy-making shop.
Next, enjoy a rowing boat trip on the small canal, fully covered by water coconut palms on both side. After that, you will have time to relax on a hammock or bike around the village.
At 3:30PM, head back to Ho Chi Minh city, arrive at around 5:00PM.

The overall idea of the trip is to drive tourist to individual shops/markets where they get smashed by local vendors and forced to buy unnecessary stuff. The rowing boat takes 10minutes, you are more than expected to tip high. The motor boat just gives you a ride in between islands where the individual vendors jump in and sell you bunch of stuff. I mean what to expect for 20€? :D Do not recommend unless you are happy to shop around at each boat stop. No local experience just a hoards of tourists and vendors.
