Stop At: Mayfield Falls & Mineral Springs (Original), Flowerhill Rd. Williamsfield, Pennycooke Jamaica
We will pick you up from your hotel. Enjoy the comfort of private transport vehicles. On the beautiful and scenic drive from your hotel to this spectacular water fall you will experience the diversity of our beautiful island. Along the way your driver/guide will give you history lessons, point out places of interest plus entertain you. You will leave the beach travel along the plains, through the towns, pass by sugar can fields up into the picturesque mountain range. Jump in be totally wet in the cool clear waters of this hidden treasures. This will be your escape from the hustle and bustle of the commercial living, relax into a beautiful natural valley filled with fresh mountain air, indigenous flowers and the musical melodies of exotic birds. Enjoy the 20 natural pools each one a different experience. The most popular is the water massage at the " The Washing Machine" enjoy the soothing effect of the power of nature. Transfer time from your hotel to the property 1.5 hours.

Mayfield Falls is beautiful. The river walk is interesting and fun. Admission is $20USD or $2500JMD. There are change rooms and guides take you on the walk. Bring water shoes or rent them for $1000JMD. Our guide told us he does not get paid by Mayfield: that he relies on tips - i gave him a good tip but I don't believe he does not receive any pay from Mayfield, however I was unable to confirm this when I was there. We also paid $3000JMD for a meager meal of Coconut Chicken, coleslaw and beans & rice - our two meals together would have been a decent meal for one person. Overall I enjoyed the walk but felt cheated by the cost of everything.We booked this tour last minute...didn’t matter...mike was on-time! He happily drove us to Mayfield Falls and took us through the beautiful small towns around the countryside. It was amazing. When we got to the falls we were the only ones there! We booked this tour last minute...didn’t matter...mike was on-time! He happily drove us to Mayfield Falls and took us through the beautiful small towns around the countryside. It was amazing. When we got to the falls we were the only ones there! Mike had it all arranged. He and our amazing Chukka guide rep (I’m sorry I cannot remember your name!) took us up the falls and was always ensuring our safety. But they made sure we experienced every part of the beautiful Jamaican nature that surrounded us. It was truly awesome and quite spiritual. Then Mike joined us for ice cream at Patsy’s. We had a fabulous at with Mike! Happy to now call him our friend. Will definitely use his services in the future. Thank you Mike! You and the Mayfield Falls rock Jamaica! Don't miss the jerk chicken at small restaurant afterwards - it was among the best we've ever had! tip- bring your own water shoes because though you can rent they were bit ragged.We met michael on our first day in Jamaica. We met michael on our first day in Jamaica. He came and rescued us from our “All inclusive” hotel and showed us the real Negril. We pretty much spent 5 days with him and each one was full of adventures. Mayfield waterfalls, crocodile hunting on black river, Chasing sunsets from Floyd’s pelican bar to ricks cafe to the Woodstock. Eating amazing authentic Jamaican food at the border of Westmoreland and st. Elizabeth, pushcart, sweet spice. I mean this man knows Negril! Best part about it is we gained a lifetime friend. He even brought us some home cooked food (bread fruit, ackee and fish). He was always on time and happy to show us his Jamaica. We will definitely be back Michael. Thank You for the hospitality. Vi hade också lite tur och var nästan ensamma på vår utflykt genom vattendragen och det var en väldigt rolig, vacker och häftig naturupplevelse. Våra guider var supertrevliga, skickliga och väldigt omtänksamma och visar dig precis var stenarna finns som du ska gå på. Du går i bara badkläder och badskor. Guide tog också hand om vår kamera och vet väl var de bästa korten tas. Vid ett ställe stannade vi och peelade oss härligt lena av mineralerna och huden blev superlen och fin. Inträde 20 USD +tip till guide + ev hyra av badskor om du inte har egna. Rekommenderar varmt ett besök där!
