Taste a selection of 5 wines of your choice including Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Merlot, Syrah and Pinot Noir

Stop At: Brick Bay Sculpture Trail, 17 Arabella Lane, Snells Beach, Auckland 0920 New Zealand
Taste wine from grapes grown on their own 20 acre vineyard.
There is a sculpture walk on the vineyard but this is not included as time does not allow this.
We take lunch at Brick Bay Vineyard cafe occasionally depending on availablity. Grapes grown include Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Syrah and Malbec. They also produce and lovely Rose'

This tour was so much better than we could have imagined ... we booked it for an xmas experience rather than give a gift - best present ever! Been to Auckland so many times but have never had such a wonderful day experiencing 'north of Auckland'. 3 wonderful vineyards and wine tasting; magnificent cheese tasting, a visit to one of our rare and magnificent Kauri treas and then we had the most beautiful lunch at Plume Vineyard Restaurant. John was the ultimate tour guide - super knowledgeable on wine and very flexible on our preferences for the day. We opted for a visit to Sculptureum (it was added cost) but well worth it and John arranged the day to fit this in . Would definitely recommend this tour and John if you want a special day out while visiting Auckland. Thank you JohnThis was an excellent tour. John is delightful and very knowledgable. Can't believe we live so close to Matakana and yet it took John's tour for us to experience such good wine, great company and really outstanding food. Spent an incredible day with John, exploring Matakana and some of the excellent vineyards and wineries along the way. An intimate experience which will be in our memories forever. Wine, cheese and chocolate along the way. What more could one ask for on a lazy, scenic Sunday :) Our lunch along the way was superb. We loved the experience and will be back for more. Hopefully soon. Now have a couple of bottles of great New Zealand wines added to our collection. Thanks John for the recommendations. We are very pleased.This tour with John was probably one of the best tours we have ever taken! He was personable, accommodating and knew the history well.
