Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product

Stop At: Semenggoh Nature Reserve, Jalan Tun Abang Haji Openg, Kuching 93000 Malaysia

For over 20 years, the wardens here trained young orangutans, who had been orphaned or rescued from captivity, how to survive in the wild. The success of this programme has left the surrounding forest reserve with a thriving population of healthy adolescent and young adult orang utans, who are now breeding in the wild. The programme has been transferred to Matang Wildlife Centre, but Semenggoh is still home to its successful graduates, semi-wild orang utans and their babies. They spend most of their time roaming the forest but frequently come back to the Centre for a free meal. If it is the fruiting season in the forest, some or even all of them may not come to feed. This in itself is a good sign and another step on the way to full rehabilitation.

It has been a good experience. David, my guide, was very well prepared and he explained me into details all the things I should have known before entering the reserve. I recommend this trip!!

I booked with u all the time but very unhappy this time. There are 2 tours to semenggoh in the website. I choosed the more expensive one as it was 2 hrs (love to spend max time with orang utan) and the other one 1 HR. On arrival was told all entry are controlled to 1 HR. Felt cheated and want a R...

David was the ideal guide and driver - very knowledgeable about orangutans, natural history of Borneo, and much else, and very friendly and personable to boot. The conservation project and its rangers are super, and the orangutans are superstars!
