One of the best tours yet! Phil was a fantastic guide with a wealth of local knowledge. Perfectly on time and kept completely to a long and difficult schedule of nearly 7 hours. Could not have done a better and more complete tour. (Even had time to explain the game of cricket😁)

We had an amazing day out with Philip on the Wine and Wild Coast Tour. So many highlights of the day - from the incredible cheese, chocolate and wine tasting through to the stunning scenery, especially the seals. As Kiwis holidaying in our own country, we loved finding out about the history of the places we visited that we wouldn't of known if we self guided. Philip was super easy to get on with and really informative. Great communication from the first enquiry of the tour, and brilliant organisation as the day went so smoothly with all the activities we managed to pack in. Highly recommend this trip!A full day tour, but full of variety. Visited sites I had driven past and would have missed again had they not been part of the tour (Rivendell for one) and the rest of the Kaitoki Regional Park. Nice to be able to relax and enjoy the views on tricky roads. The seals (or are they sea lions?) were awesome, but we were a bit puffed at the top of the Cape Palliser Lighthouse steps. Philip knows the area and history well, and is able to enhance the experience. Great fun to travel with.We have enjoyed every minutes of the trip. Philip was a wonderful tour guide, he patiently showed us all the places. Great drive . He is 10/10 Thank you Philip

A great day out, and so glad we did it with Phil to benefit from his extensive knowledge of the area. A slight variation from the norm I think as one of the normal venues was closed, so had a lovely pub lunch at The Swan Hotel in Greytown, and dinner at the Union Square bistro at the Martinborough Hotel. In between was a trip around the south east coast to the end of the road at the Cape Palliser lighthouse. Views across Cook Strait to the Kaikoura Range, tractors lining the beach at Ngawi, wonderful views of the seals at their colony, all part of a very rewarding day! Thanks to Phil, and we'll be back.In spite of cold wind and rain we had an excellent tour with Phil. We really appreciated his driving skills through the winding mountain pass into the wine region. In spite of cold wind and rain we had an excellent tour with Phil. We really appreciated his driving skills through the winding mountain pass into the wine region. Quick but delicious stops at Cheese Shop and Chocolate shop before a fabulous lunch and wine tasting. Everything was delicious! Then on to more wine tastings, getting up close to playful fur seals, climbing up to a very high lighthouse, enduring high winds up there, and finally to another delicious meal before being dropped off safely back at our accommodation. Swing bridge walk wasn't an option as it was being repaired, but Phil did take us to a filming site for one of the Lord of the Ring movies instead. A great way to see and taste some of the excellent offerings in this part of New Zealand.
