Then, you will visit the merida´s traditional bars, that we call “cantinas”, you can only find them here, in Yucatán. We will visit 2 different cantinas where you can have some drinks and snacks, while you listening to Mexican music in a very friendly atmosphere.
The snacks are regional food that are cooked in the cantinas. Each cantina has its own distinctive flavor that make it special and well known in the city.

The Yucatecan food was delicious and more than filling, and it was great to explore the city. Make sure you ask for Iveth as your tour guide if you can. We had to arrive late and leave early due to some travel difficulties, and she was the consummate professional. She was also friendly, helpful, and passionate and knowledgeable about the food of the region. I would absolutely recommend this experience.Pamela was awesome and made the experience informative and fun. It was the perfect mix of the market and the cantinas.
