What to expect
ATTENTION: Monday, Wednesday and Friday: guided tour in English. Rest of the week in Spanish
1. CIVIMA VISIT (Viñas de Manilva Interpretation Center) - Museum space with three rooms: Viticulture, Oenology and Harvest. A journey through the past, present and future of Manilva Viticulture.
2. BODEGA NILVA: In the same CIVIMA building is the small winery where we make our NILVA wines.
3. VIÑA DEL PEÑONCILLO: After the visit to CIVIMA and Bodega NILVA we went to Viña del Peñoncillo, with spectacular views of the Mediterranean Sea and Africa, where, in addition to explaining the organic farming techniques with which we cultivate our vineyard, we tasted the NILVA wines with some tapas (ham and cheese). The visit to the vineyard is subject to good weather conditions. The journey from CIVIMA to the vineyard is done in the visitor's private vehicles or can be done on foot, a walk of about 10 minutes with very interesting panoramic views of the Mediterranean Coast

- Vineyard is located 1.2 km from the winery, you need your own vehicle to go to the vineyard (or a 10-15-minute walk).

- Parking near CIVIMA is often difficult. It is advisable to arrive well in advance

The talk in the wine museum was followed by a wine tasting with cheese and ham in the vineyards with great views over the med.

Maggi our tour guide is so passionate about Nilva & that really added to the experience. Anyone going to the tour give yourselves an extra 30 minutes to get there as parking is hard to find.

Our tour of Manilva wines was absolutely wonderful!! Maggie was so passionate, engaging and informative and made our experience fantastic. We will be coming back for the Fiesta de la Vendimia in September and again and again thereafter. Maggie made us feel so welcome and made our tour utterly perfect. The setting of the vineyard is so incredibly peaceful and idyllic with the most picturesque views that must be preserved. We were all so impressed by the professionalism and organisation of the company and the quality of the wine speaks for itself. None of us can wait for the red and we will most definitely put an order in as soon as it is ready!!Fantastisk informativ rundtur på en liten vingård med en småskalig vintillverkning. Marie was the loveliest women!! So knowledgeable and a made it a great experience. The guided tour starts in the wine museum and then to the winery. She explains the process of wine making from grape to shelf. You can even have a go corking the bottle! Then we moved to the second site where unfortunately you need a car and we didn’t have one. We had to walk 15-20min. The guided wine tasting was great with some nibbles that complimented perfectly. Overall, a lovely way to spend your evening and a great small business.
