We were a small group of 3 people and the entire experience was a lot more personal but also more enjoyable. Our guides were the best, they gave us all the important aspects we needed to know regarding the tour, landscape, and the land and its capacity to produce such good wine. We went to three different vineyards and each one was a whole different experience - we went from a big industrial vineyard, had a very good lunch in the second one and the third one was probably my favorite, very local, good wine and beautiful landscapes. Totally recommended for a day in Santiago. We were a small group of 3 and it made the entire expererience more personal. Our guides were knowledgeable and so much fun to spend the day with!!

We made our reservations a month before we were to travel to Santiago, and of course paid our full fee. At midnight (when we were sound asleep in the hotel) of the morning we were to go on the tour scheduled at 8:30 am, we got an email telling us simply that the tour was cancelled. No reason was ever given other than “it was not possible confirm enough wineries at Maipo Valley for this reason is not possible complete the itinerary”. Come on? Any legit operator would have been able to line up wineries of the many there, or at least known they were too small or inexperienced enough to do so well before midnight of the day of the tour. We saw the email when we woke up. We were offered another tour to the Casablanca Valley, but we had chosen Maipo Valley intentionally and not the other one. The last minute cancellation was terrible customer service and left us no time to schedule another Maipo Valley tour with another operator - which I am sure was intentional or simply too careless to care about their customers. Do not trust this Company.Juan was a wonderful driver and tour guide. Highly recommend this tour as a day trip from Santiago. Two tours were wonderful.

The trip to Maipo Valley did not go ahead due to low numbers but I got put on equivalent value trip to Casablanca Valley instead, where we visited 4 wineries and tastings in three of them included. All in all a great day trip to taste and learn about the wines of Chile. Our designated driver and guide was personable and knowledgeable about the region. It's on the expensive since lunch is not included but Santiago and Chile in general is more expensive than other South American countries, and I feel premium services were provided. Wine lovers will definitely enjoy this trip.Wonderful tour of 3 wineries (2 big name wineries + one small winery specializing in unfiltered wines)! Wonderful tour of 3 wineries (2 big name wineries + one small winery specializing in unfiltered wines)! Our guide Helene spoke fluent English and gave great information about the wineries and Chile overall. Would highly recommend this tour for travelers willing to go a little off the beaten path away from the typical tourist destinations!
