Luxury Private Wine Tasting Tour to Guadalupe Valley from San Diego
Overview
We offer the best wine tasting tours to Guadalupe Valley starting from San Diego! You will visit three artisan wine makers in the heart of the valley where you will enjoy tastings of delicious reds, whites and roses. You will experience a tour of the wine making process and enjoy a succulent BajaMed style lunch at Finca Altozano. Tour starts at 9:00am and back in San Diego by 7:30pm. Times are approximations, wineries and restaurant subject to change based on availability and weather conditions. This is a Private tour. You will have a private van for your party. No strangers. Minimum of six passengers per booking needed. If you have a request for a particular winery you want to visit let us know and we will try to include it in your itinerary.

Stop At: Chula Vista, Chula Vista, California
This is the meeting location. Public tours depart at 9:00am from E Street trolley station in Chula Vista, San Diego.
For private tours with seven or less passengers we can pick you up at your home or hotel as long as you are south of Mission Valley. For groups of 8 or more the meeting location may be in San Ysidro or Chula Vista.
Duration: 15 minutes
Stop At: El Mirador, calle Miguel Aleman, Ensenada, Ensenada Municipality Mexico
Stop over at El Mirador for restroom break and chance to take pictures and enjoy the view of the bay of Todos los Santos, Ensenada. Time to enjoy some traditional Mexican candy from vendors
Duration: 10 minutes
Stop At: Villa Montefiori, Parcela 26 S/N, Ensenada, Ensenada Municipality 22785 Mexico
11:00 am Visit to First winery in Valle de Guadalupe for wine tastings. Wineries change in every tour. Wineries to be determined by operator.
Duration: 45 minutes
Stop At: Baron Balche, Ej. El Porvenir, Ensenada Municipality Mexico
12:00 pm Visit to Second winery for more wine tastings and tour of the wine making process. Cheese platter will be served with wine. Wineries subject to change based on availability.
Duration: 1 hour
Stop At: Finca Altozano, Carretera Tecate - Ensenada, Ejido Km 83, 22750 Francisco Zarco (Valle de Guadalupe), B.C., Mexico

My favorite part by far was our awesome tour guide Mario. He made are trip so fun, interesting, informative, and unique for all of my family members including my kids whose ages range from 1 to 15 years old. It is not an easy job to make everyone happy but Mario did it. He took us to the best restuarants from fresh lobster, to mole poblano to alote pancakes to mexican coffee that you light on fire before drinking. We had margaritas at the beach, 4 wheeling on sand dunes, personal mariachis bands, visits to art galleries and still managed time to shop for gifts. All of the accomodations were safe and clean and perfect for my family. He was so flexible and really knew what to show us and what to tell us about. He was able to keep my kids interested with cool facts about how certain places got their names, or where famous movies were filmed. We were able to sample some delicious wines from Mexico at a variety of wineries. While we sampled the wines, the kids were able to explore the vinards and enjoy the beauitful landscape. This was an amazing experience on our private wine tour with Mario. From the communication leading up to the tour, pick up and the tour itself. He was so informative and knowledgeable about the Valle de Guadalupe. He Made the experience soo great he accommodated us letting us bring our two young daughters. And all the wineries we went to had it’s own unique thing about them and our lunch location at Finca Altozano was top notch. Definitely delivered.
