Soksabike is a fantastic organisation. I was lucky to be accompanied by Moni (speaks very good English!) on the "local livelihood tour". It was a great experience ! Great addresses, great stories, and learned many new things about local customs and habits. When visiting the local "killing fields", I learned a lot of history in addition to our visits in Phnom Penh. Soksabike works in a very respectful way with local small entrepreneurs, and makes sure that they are properly compensated for their time and hospitality. Highly recommended !Interesting insights into local business of Cambodia. Understanding things you may have seen in Cambodia, not knowing where and how they are produced. Interesting encounters with locals, beautiful landscapes, good bikes and good vibes. The tour guide and the organisation convincingly represent responsible local tourism. This was a really great tour, our guide was excellent and provided lots of information, including teaching us a bit of Khmer! The bike ride is very flat and you are never going that long between stops (about 20 minutes each at the start and end but much shorter in between the different stops). Great way to see some of the countryside and Cambodian culture. There were lots of opportunities to taste the different foods, by the end I was full enough I didn't need lunch! Highly recommend taking one of these tours on a visit to Battambang.
