Choose a morning or an afternoon departure when booking your tour, then we will begin your half-day fishing and snorkeling experience. This family-friendly trip is interactive fun for groups of all ages — beginner and skilled fishers alike.
Explore the best fishing areas with your licensed guide, and cast your fishing lines to try for the catch of the day. All fishing equipment, licensing, and bait is covered in the cost of the tour, as is bottled water to keep you refreshed while you're on the water.
After two hours of fishing, suit up with the provided snorkeling gear and snorkel in the water for 90 minutes of exploring the underwater world around Isla Mujeres. With your guide, spot vibrant corals and colorful tropical fish; the area you'll stop at is home to angel fish, parrot fish, sergeant major fish, blue tang, snappers, and more.

The guides we very friendly and several times encouraged us to take our time at each snorkel stop which was nice because we never felt rushed.

Right from the start this trip was exceptional. Carlos advised us of the different packages without pressure and we selected a private fishing plus snorkeling tour. Our Captain Alphonso was clearly very experienced and our First Mate, Julio, a real pleasure. Boat was extremely well maintained and we felt very safe at all times. We had an exceptional day of fishing, catching 6 barracudas in total! Fishing was so good that we switched out the snorkeling for an extra hour of fishing. Our captain knew the waters well. Julio made us the best ceviche I have ever eaten, right on the boat, from one of our catches. This was a highlight of our trip. I would definitely recommend Island Tours if you are looking for an excursion.Carlos was amazing and very welcoming. We booked a snorkel tour and felt safe at all times, highly recommend it!

Carlos explain us everything so there was nothing to worry. We see lot of fantastic species of sea animals, Musa museum and coral. The guides were helpfull and they prepared us fantastic meal. We went to Carlos and he offered us what seemed to be a good snorkelling tour for the money (not the cheapest available) but in the end it was all lies. He promised four hours of snorkelling with 5 different stops and in the end we only visited 2 with about 30 minutes of actual snorkelling. The museum was also rushed because we were stopped by the reef security for some time as our guide and captain did not have his licence and so we only saw two attractions in the museum. For lunch we were taken to the island’s version of HELL where we were forced to watch horrible people take pictures with a sedated and terrified shark and eat really horrible food in a restaurant that blasted deafening reggaeton for the entire time- most of our tour group took refuge back in the boat. When we returned from the trip all 5 of the people on my group went straight to the agency and spoke to Carlos who insisted that we must be lying because no one else on our tour had complained yet and that we were confused about the number of snorkelling sites we saw because you cannot see the distance once in the water and that he had only promised 3 hours of snorkelling not 4 (either way we spent much time in the water). He claimed that if I wrote an official complaint down for him and left the number he would ensure that the captain would call me at 6pm to sort a refund or some kind of agreement. I am still waiting a week later.
