Our group of 6 senior citizens from the US needed a guide to view and enjoy the towns in the French Riviera. Luckily, we had been given a suggestion for the Best Tour Guide for this experience. We contacted Art and Tours and requested Cecile Ruiz. Starting months in advance of our trip, we discussed via email our wishes and listened to her suggestions. We had 2 delightful and informative days with Cecile. During our drives, she gave us history lessons of each of the areas we visited and planned great stops for pictures, walking, shopping, and eating. Our hotel was in Eze and she started each day at 8:30. One day we traveled East of Eze and the next we drove west of Eze. We viewed Monaco from above and avoided the little municipality. With her expert driving, we climbed up the mountains and visited La Turbie, Gorges, Saint Jean Cap Ferraro, Tourettes, Menton, and St. Paul de Vence. For anyone desiring to see this area, we suggest you contact Cecile. Her knowledge and personality made these two days very special.Ktennis1

I hired Art and Tours to operate a series of day-tour excursions for my clients, in connection with the Monte Carlo Rolex Masters event. Cecile picked us up in front of our hotel, greeted us with a sign for our company, and we all piked into her sparkling new tour van. From start to finish, she was professional but friendly, asking us questions and getting to know us, though equally eager to share her knowledge of the local area. The tour took us through Eze and Nice, both of which were lovely. The attractions themselves are stunning and fascinating, but Art and Tours really helped us see them in the best way possible. There was a half-marathon going on in Nice in the morning, so Cecile explained that she'd adjusted the tour schedule so we wouldn't get caught up in traffic. She also crafted a route in which we never repeated the same path twice, winding and weaving us through the South of France by car and on foot, always pointing out little nuances we'd never have noticed, or explaining the broad strokes of the history of the French Riviera. It was a professional yet personal experience in which tour guests learned a lot and really enjoyed themselves. I feel great about the value of the tour, and Cecile was easy to deal with in terms of the billing and invoicing, as well. I will soon be booking Art and Tours for next year.Abhijit S

We as a family of three spent two days with Cecile in the French Riviera during the Easter weekend. I had booked art tours based on TA reviews and have to say Cecile more than lived up to all the good things people have said about her services here. She picked us up on both days from our hotel in Nice and we covered pretty much the whole of Riviera including Nice, Cannes, Antibes, Menton, Eze and Monte Carlo over two days. At no point did the itinerary seem rushed and CEcile allowed us enough time at each of the destinations to explore at leisure. She was very accommodating about some of our rather eccentric requests including 5 star toilet breaks albeit they involved her having to drive around and go off the usual routes. Overall it was a great experience and she also went out of her way to keep my 7 year old daughter engaged with bits of information about all the places we visited. We also had booked a food tour of Nice however due to some last minute adjustments Cecile accommodated that the next day and we did the same in Menton. We also visited a number of local food markets and sampled delicious local fare based on Ceciles’s recommendations . We spent great two days with her and it was really a very convenient and great way to cover the sights and delights of French Riviera with an extremely knowledgeable and delightful person.Jim O

We traveled from Monte Carlo to the Antibes area, onward to St. Paul de Vence and then to the village of Ese. CeCe is a true professional guide with years of experience, considerable knowledge and genuine expertise of the entire French Riviera. She provided us with memories we will have for a lifetime. If you need a guide in the area and don't contact CeCe, you are making an error. I earnestly recommend her.
