I’ve traveled a lot in my life and just spent five weeks in Norway and France. This outing with Trollcruise was one of my all time highlights. Some friends and I went on a Wednesday when they had music. We shared a couple of generously supplied baskets of food which included meat, focaccia bread (really good), olives, nuts, cheese, and a free drink including beer or wine. They take off out of the Oslo harbor so it was easy to get to. This is a main area of town walking distance from the train station or just about anywhere central. The musician was multi-lingual and talented. His name is Ole Martin. There were Norwegians, French, Italians, and Americans on board that night. We joined in singing songs in English and Norwegian. I don’t remember all of the songs but I remember a few from Creedance Clearwater, The Rolling Stones, and Bruce Springsteen. We had a really, really excellent time singing and looking at Oslo and surrounding from the boat. The boat is a large wooden sailing ship with a friendly captain and crew. We ate and drank, and sang our way around the Oslo fjord for a couple of hours into the sunset. If it sounds magical, it was. The price was extremely reasonable for what you got. Definitely a great value and memories for a lifetime. See my photos. You’ll get the idea. If you are in Norway, don’t miss this. I highly recommend it.Fantastic trubadour who makes the evening complete! The Oslo fjord archipelago is a beautiful scenery. The old sailingships are really charming. Fantastic trubadour who makes the evening complete! The Oslo fjord archipelago is a beautiful scenery. The old sailingships are really charming. You get a nice picnicbasket with some cheese and cured ham tapas, bread&aioli. The bar has all rights. The crew are welcoming and serviceminded. You dont have to sing along, just enjoy 3h on the fjord!Loved the tour! The ship was full, but not overstuffed; everyone fit comfortably and could easily move around. Loved the tour! The ship was full, but not overstuffed; everyone fit comfortably and could easily move around. The singer-guitarist who led the tour was great: he had a good sense of the crowd, played the songs that participants liked, let the audience shine at all the right moments. Three hours flew like a few minutes! Their food basket was nice too: each table got its own basket with tasty, easy-to eat snacks for the setting. The views of the city and smaller islands were great.
