Little Havana Walking Tour + 1 Hour Everglades Airboat Ride
Overview
Wild Lime Adventures provides the only tour that combines an airboat ride in the Everglades with a tour of Little Havana. Two exciting activities in a part day! Enjoy both of these iconic South Florida spots and still have time to go to the beach! We will start our day with a narrated scenic drive to the Everglades. Your guide will identify the local flora and fauna and will inform you about the history of the Everglades and the current challenges facing this unique ecosystem. You will then take a 60 minute airboat ride out on the Miccosukke Indian reservation. You will learn all about their history and culture and will be able to explore a native tree island village. We only use small personalized airboats. NO cattle call airboats! After time in the "Glades, we will depart for Little Havana. Your guide will share the special history of the Cuban exile community. Take a behind the scenes tour of a cigar shop and enjoy some special Cuban treats. You will have an hour of free time here.

We will embark on a 70 minute airboat ride way out into the "River of Grass". We will able to visit two Native tree island villages and learn about the Miccosukee cutture and how they were able to survive in this harsh environment.

Your guide will share the unique history of this Cuban exile community. Practice your Spanish as you walk through the vibrant and lively neighborhood. You will also have about 45 muinutes of free time after the walking tour.

The worst value for money we have ever experienced .We were not even sure the tour was going ahead until the night before, not enough people!! .The communication around this from Lime Adventures was very poor. We were finally picked up at 8.20 and taken to the Everglades to meet our guide, Ryan...
The worst value for money we have ever experienced .We were not even sure the tour was going ahead until the night before, not enough people!! .The communication around this from Lime Adventures was very poor. We were finally picked up at 8.20 and taken to the Everglades to meet our guide, Ryan. We went on a nice air boat ride for an hour and saw 3 Alligators. We stopped to see an old deserted Indian village which was interesting but just a few shacks .Then on to Little Havana. We walked around for half an hour, visited a cigar shop, then those who wanted went for lunch ,with Ryan, at their own expense,. We were there to see the area so decided to continue walking around and listening to other guides giving info !! We were told to be back at the restaurant by 1,they finally left at 1.30 . And that was it . $530 ASD!!!!! We were supposed to visit Shark Valley but that didn’t happen. Fortunately Ryan(who was a very informative guide) dropped us off at the Wynwood Walls and we made our own way home by taxi !You need to check your list of inclusions, it’s rubbish .Even the coffee was not supplied !! We had a great trip! I highly recommend Wild Lime Adventures. The partners they use for their tours are so great. They were all very accommodating and very knowledgeable. Ryan was an amazing tour guide and made sure we had a good vacation experience.

We modified our tour to include the winwood walls… we had a charming and extremely knowledgeable guide, in Ryan. Can’t rave enough about him. He tour of little Havana and the lunch was very good and personal! Loved every minute!
