Our guide, Pedro, picked us up outside our apartment in Lisbon in his impeccably clean Tuk Tuk and whirled us away into the city. He meticulously explained the sites we were witnessing with a passion and insight reserved for someone with a love of their home. From old, poor sections to the homes of royalty, we saw it all. The harbors, fancy restaurants, marinas, etc. We were treated to a panoply of tourist attractions. The trip was worth every penny, but the guide made the experience unforgettable. My wife and I joined the Tuk Tuk Lisbon Food & Wine today. My husband and I completed this tuk tuk tour on our first day in Lisbon. The pick-up process was really smooth, our driver Miguel picked us up directly at our hotel. He asked us questions about what we've done in the city (basically nothing) and catered a ride to allow us to see the most of the city and avoided stops that we could reach on our own easily via walking. We got to see several beautiful sights overlooking the city/water. The information was great - enough to understand the history and what we were looking at but not too much that we were bogged down with facts. We were able to easily navigate throughout the city and see a ton more stops than we would on our own walking. The private nature of this and experience surpassed the tuk tuk experience we saw attempting to get passengers on the side streets. The 2 Hour private Tuk Tuk Tour with Nuno was a lot of fun!!! Nuno shared a lot of history with us and was able to answer all our questions! Definitely a highlight in the trip!
