What to expect
Your tour will start with a convenient pickup at 11:30 onboard a private minivan or SUV. Watch the scenery on the 1-hour drive to an old & classic hacienda located outside Lima. You will be welcomed by a local guide dressed in colorful native costume.
Take a walking tour of the hacienda to learn about the breeding of the Paso Horse and take a moment to ride your own horse (accompanied by a professional rider). Watch an exhibition of the horses' skills accompanied by the dance of the "chalanes" and the marinera nortena, known as the typical dance of northern Peru. Follow the exhibition with a lunch of roasted chicken, vegetables from the farm, native potatoes, stewed beans, and a traditional Pisco Sour. Your tour ends with the drop-off at your hotel or apartment in Lima at approximately 16:00.

Interesting visit to beautiful horse facility to see these lovely creatures doing their show routines and learn about their unique talents. Lunch was wonderful featuring local foods. Would have liked to just stay at the peaceful grounds all day!

If you have a love of animals, this is a “must do!”Not only did we get a great overview of Lima and the southern areas of the city but also the rural areas. The estancia and the horses plus pisco sours and wine and lunch was really fantastic. For us horse people this was the highlight of our visit to Lima.

The show was interesting and entertaining; they demonstrated the different levels of training the horses go through and then put on a great show with music. Buffet lunch was delicious and the vegetables were from their own organic garden. A lovely day! I highly recommend!!
