I have to say that the best part of this tour was our tour guide. Manuel Gracias is knowledgeable, friendly and full of little tips, stories, and recommendations -which make the city come alive. So far it's not impressive. But there is more. Manuel is a citizen of the world and creates such a group culture very quickly. He offers a rich, multi-layered perspective to German history. These are a rare quality. To appreciate this, you need to understand that your tour guides get to tell the history! I suspect that they are not aware of their power (or worse, they are but speak from their own ideological perspective on purpose). Manuel will tell you a bit of both sides. I participated in a two-hour tour. I think that's the perfect length. That's enough to get you tired and honestly i can't take in more information in a day. You will be left with lots of food for thought and you can spend the rest of the day digesting it. and last but not least, please take the tips seriously and be fair! We tipped him 10 euros each. Well-deserved. In small-groups, i recommend you consider a higher amount.I had the chance to take the tour with Francis as guide and I had a very good experience, excellent explanations and interesting places, I can only recommend this Tour.

Honestly one of the best walking tours I’ve been onI coincidentally had a private tour by Francis. His knowledge about the city and its history (not only Leipzig but globally)is just astonishing. Had a really nice time discussing covering a lot of topics. Very recommendable!
