What to expect
Lessons are 2 hours, and are offered seven days a week, year round — surf and weather permitting. If you don’t have any surfing equipment, don’t stress it, we provide wetsuits and surfboards so all you have to do is show up and have great time.

- Not wheelchair accessible
- Minimum numbers apply. There must be 2 participants for each activity. There is a possibility of cancellation after confirmation if there are not enough participants to meet requirements. In the event of this occurring, you will be offered an alternative or full refund
- Travelers should have a moderate physical fitness level
- Hand sanitizer available to travelers and staff
- Social distancing enforced throughout experience
- Gear/equipment sanitized between use
- Transportation vehicles regularly sanitized
- Guides required to regularly wash hands
- Contactless payments for gratuities and add-ons
- Surfing is a naturally socially distant sport and we have had no Covid cases associated with any of our instructors or clients since the onset. We have helped hundreds of clients learn to surf in that time and are very careful to keep appropriate space along with equipment sanitized.

We had a great experience this week at iSurf. My ten year old twins took a couple of private lessons from Zach and not only had a great time, but improved quite a bit. iSurf is very organized and the staff is very nice to work with. The two beaches used were perfect for beginners - smallish waves and not deep. We all felt safe. My kids had so much fun that we will definitely return to iSurf when we come back to the Santa Barbara area.I had an amazing first time experience learning how to surf with Zach at leadbetter beach. He was professional and technical just enough so that I could learn and succeed in catching a few waves while enjoying being out in the water. I would definitely do it again. So much fun! I don't often write reviews but I wanted to share my great experience with iSurf in Santa Barbara. My daughters and I had a lesson at Campus Point and the instruction was the best I have experienced across California, Costa Rica, etc. The instructor was really good and taught important fundamentals that most surf schools leave out that make a big difference. Each of my daughters was riding waves with more confidence and skill than I had seen before. This is not a surf school "factory" trying to see how many people they can turn over in a day. The instructor cared that they learn the basics and really get set up to enjoy surfing. Thanks!Our half day group lesson was an amazing experience for kids and adults!!
