What to expect
Please Note - the activity location address IS WRONG
We meet at our shop in Cavill Avenue next to Hungry Jacks in the heart of Surfers Paradise 15 minutes before the lesson begins. We provide a long sleeved rash/sun shirt and select the correct size soft beginner surf board and walk to the beach. We begin with a safety talk and some basic instruction and catch our first few waves in waist deep water. Then we return to the beach for more detailed instruction about how to stand up on your surf board. We spend the rest of the lesson in the water with the instructor assisting everyone to stand up on their surf board.

We had an absolute blast- big thank you to Kaylin, she was lovely to talk to and I’m so glad she was teaching us. I hope to visit again sometime soon!!

My daughter Chau (14) had surfed a couple times before and wanted to further improve her skills, this time with her family friend Tumi (14) and cousins Adriana and Thomas (14 & 12). Chau was extremely pleased with the coaches here especially Blake and Jason. She said “They were super good at teaching, while still being fun and goofy.” Although I reckon favourite part of going was seeing Chi Chi inside the store.
