This brand new tour is a unique, hilly spin that is nearly all on bóithríní, the narrow country lanes typical of rural Ireland. The sophisticated suspension of our state-of-the-art eBikes makes tackling these slopes a breeze, opening up the undulating terrain for us to explore like never before.

Starting and finishing in the picturesque fishing village of Union Hall, this thrilling circuit weaves through the heart of West Cork, reaching out to the captivating corners of Myross, Leap, Rosscarbery, and Glandore. With a distance of approximately 40 kilometers, our e-bike tour is a delightful combination of natural beauty, rich history, and cultural heritage.

Stop At: Leap, Leap, County Cork

We stop by An Droichidín on the way to Leap. This is an amazing stone cut arch/bridge on the way into Myross Wood House

Stop At: Leap, Leap, County Cork

We make a brief stop at the very atmospheric Kilmacabea Old Graveyard and discuss some tales from local folklore.
Time includes c. 20 minutes of cycling to this stop

Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Dungannon, Connonagh, Co. Cork, Ireland

We visit the William Thompson memorial and briefly discuss this amazing reformers life story.
Time includes c. 15 mins of cycling to this stop

Duration: 25 minutes

Stop At: Castle Salem, Benduff, Rosscarbery, Co. Cork, Ireland

After an exhilarating decent down a steep valley we stop by the entrance to this very interesting castle which has some amazing history. We also discuss the Quaker graveyard located next to the entrance.

Stop At: Rosscarbery, Rosscarbery, County Cork

We stop for a coffee stop in the vibrant and colourful West Cork village of Rosscarbery.

Stop At: Mill Cove, Downeen, Co. Cork, Ireland

We visit the beautiful Mill Cove and discuss William Coppingers plans for this harbour.
Time includes c. 20 mins cycling to this stop

Stop At: Rosscarbery, Rosscarbery, County Cork

Coppingers Court is one of the finest examples of an Elizabethan House in Co. Cork and it was also the seat of a notorious tyrant

Stop At: Drombeg Stone Circle, Drombeg Off R597 between Rosscarbery and Glandore, Skibbereen Ireland

This Bronze Age circle is one of the highlights of a visit to West Cork.

Stop At: Glandore, Glandore, County Cork

We return via the beautiful seaside village of Glandore

Finally we return to the fishing village of Union Hall
