The Arènes de Lutèce is the oldest monument built in Paris and still partly existing. It has been built in the 1st century AD. This arena could seat 17, 000 people and was used as a theatre but also as an amphitheatre for gladiatorial fights.

The Collège of Bernardins is a former Cistercian college of the University of Paris. It is also one of the largest and oldest medieval buildings in Paris.
Created during the 13th century, the vocation of this College was to welcome and train young monks.
Designed to accommodate a few students, this college will train thousands of monks from all over Europe between the 13th and 15th centuries.

My boyfriend and I went to Paris last week and we did the Latin Quarter tour. It was really informative and Quentin made it interesting. This is a 2-hour walk where we discovered famous monuments, a very nice garden and old Roman ruins. We had a really good time!
