Got picked up at 8:30 and was on coach for 1 and a half hours before the tour started because of pickups and switching passengers. Went to see a crowded green lake in el golfo which was good. Then onto the camels rides. At this point I hadn’t had access to the toilet for 2:30 hours. So went to the loos and joined the queue to ride the camels. Once I got to the front of the queue I was asked which bus I was on and got told I couldn’t ride a camel. Only took me 4 min to get off the bus and use the toilet (I’m 28 and quick on my feet!) Was very upset about this!! Felt like crying, never rode a camel and I built up the courage on the coach. I would have had time to ride the camels as the people next to me in the queue rode the camels and got off while I was sat on the bus waiting to leave!!! Then I went to see the national park and did some fun experiments which was ok. But I am now waiting for an hour for everyone to eat their lunch at a buffet we didn’t get to see before paying for. Nothing has a price and I’ve heard bad reviews about. It’s in the middle of nowhere and this is the only place we have stopped for for such a long amount of time. The coach tour guide did a lot more spanish speaking than English.Got dropped off first so giving it a two and did enjoy the National park and green lakeHave used First Minute travel a few times when visiting Lanzarote. Have used First Minute travel a few times when visiting Lanzarote. Their coach arrived on time to collect us from our pick up point and take us on an informative tour of Timanfaya National Park and it's stunning volcanoes. Our guide had a great sense of humour and part of the tour was orated by him and the rest on the coach was by pre recorded information. The tour consisted of a camel ride which cost an extra €6 each, a stop off at the cafe restaurant on the volcano where experiments were conducted and a gift shop and toilet facilities were located. There was also a well there where meat was cooking from the heat of the volcano. This tour also consisted of local wine tasting. All in all a good tour and we were blessed with an excellent coach driver as some of the narrow sections of the roads on the volcano was hair raising. We went to see the camels as part of a TUI excursion in an 8seater 4x4. We went to see the camels as part of a TUI excursion in an 8seater 4x4. The camel ride was an amazing experience that my family all enjoyed. Would highly recommend. If rained gently in the day we went and can be cooler up in this area so a raincoat or a hoody are recommended. The camels were friendly but were muzzled. You sit on the camels in 2s (side by side) For an additional €5 you can get a picture of you riding the camel.(paid in cash at the time) It is quite a short activity in itself lasting no more that 30 minutes. There are toilets, a wee cafe and a nice gift shop in caves beside the car park.Aunque el paseo es muy corto (unos 25 minutos), es una bonita experiencia sobre todo si vas con niños pequeños.
