• And Bet Mikael & Bet Golgotha.

Stop At: Rock-Hewn Churches of Lalibela, Lalibela 1260 Ethiopia
In the afternoon, visit the Southeastern Cluster of churches
• Bet Gabriel-Rufael,
• Bet Merkorios,
• Bet Amanual,
• And Bet Abba Libanos.
Finally, visit the most famous of all the churches – Bet Giyorgis, a huge monolith in the shape of a cross, and constructed in honor of St. George, the patron saint of Ethiopia.

Lalibela is a wonderful city with a lot of history. I also wanted to walk and discover the nature of the region. Sisay knew how to propose me a program completely adapted to my desires. We walked in the mountains around Lalibela to discover the small villages and the magnificent landscapes. We slept in a farmer's family who was very welcoming and friendly and made me discover the local culture and Ethiopian traditions. It was an experience that I will never forget! Sisay is a guide who promotes sustainable tourism by staying with local people in order to benefit the communities and to discover the real Ethiopian traditions by meeting the locals. I am a woman and I went alone for 4 days with him. He is very professional and reassuring! Moreover he speaks very good English but also French. Ideal for people like me who are not fluent in English. I recommend this guide 100%.
