The Lake Atitlan Sunset Tour is one of the best afternoon activities you can do while visiting Lake Atitlan. This adventure begins at our office in Panajachel and we head over to our first stop which is Santa Catarina Palopo. In this colorful small town on the edge of the lake we visit the local cultural center as well as the beach shore on the edge of the town. Here you can relax, take a swim, or just have a drink while listening to the water.

Our next stop is back in Panajachel where we visit the Jucanya beach and maybe catch some paragliders landing back on shore.

Stop At: Barrio Jucanya, PRRX+8F7, Callejon Chotzar, Panajachel, Guatemala
Playa los Salpores, the local beach located on the edge of the lake to take our first clear view of the lake and its surroundings

This was the most fun we had as a family in a while. Our guide Yeshua, did a fantastic job making sure everyone is safe and comfortable with the ATVs. His infectious personality brought so much liveliness in the tour. We drove through a couple of villages (Santa Catarina Palopo & San Antonio Palopo) right before sunset and stopped for the textiles and pottery. We watched the sunset and then headed back into the night. It was so amazing to see the villages during daylight and then, during the dark, while driving back you could see the lights of the villages across the lake. It was the best experience, I highly recommend this tour and Simoon tours is an awesome, reliable company. Don't look any further.The guide was cool, kind and patient with us. He explained a lot of things really interesting. The views were incredible all the way. I really appreciate this activity thank you again.
