What to expect

A tour to La Soufriere takes you along the picturesque windward (eastern) coast of the island. Our 1st stop would be at Arnos Vale where you will get to see the E.T Joshua airport (our old airport) and The Arnos Vale playing field (our stadium) where all the cricket matches are played – West Indies vs The rest of the world.

Carrying on our journey on the windward highway. This side of the island is the most developed side of St. Vincent and the Grenadines, where the majority of the hotel, bars and white sand beaches are. Our next quick photo stop will be at villa where you will get the see the beautiful Young Island. Young Island is where Johnny Depp and some of his cast mates stayed while they were filming the movie, The Pirates of the Caribbean.

We will then be driving through Georgetown where we will be making our last quick stop at the Rabacca dry river for photos then continuing on to where the foot trail begins. You travel along steep volcanic ridges verdant with bamboo and tropical trees.

After reaching the volcano there is a possible you might be able to climb down into the inside to get a closer look at the beautiful steaming doom. The “on top of the world feeling” and its marvelous view makes this site one not to pass by.

There are gazebos. washrooms, a site office and parking at Bamboo Range on the eastern trail.

This tour was one of the best in st Vincent. A must do. My 4yr old son enjoyed the hike to the volcano and we enjoyed the view of the island from the top. Mr Wayne and his team are very experienced and definitely made the trip an enjoyable one. Thank you.

We were accompanied by great views of the rocky cliffs and small bays of the Atlantic coast of St. Vincent. Our driver was very interesting...
